Proper nutrition is ensured for all inmates to maintain their health and well-being. Diet is provided as per prescribed standards, with separate provisions for laboring and non-laboring inmates based on their physical requirements. Special nutritious diet is arranged for pregnant women to support maternal health, and appropriate food is provided for children staying with women prisoners to ensure their growth and development. In addition, safe and adequate drinking water is made available to all inmates at all times.
