Legal facilitation in prisons ensures that inmates have access to justice and are aware of their legal rights. Legal Aid Clinics are established to provide free legal assistance, supported by legal advisors who offer guidance and counseling on case-related matters. Regular legal awareness camps are organized in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA). Indigent prisoners are provided with advocates at no cost. Assistance is also extended for bail, furlough, parole, and premature release as per rules. Additionally, virtual production and trial through video conferencing enable timely legal proceedings while maintaining security and efficiency.
