Skill Up-gradation training on different fields like making of Agarabati, Chatua, Papad, Pickle, Mushroom Cultivation, Vermin Compost, making a Bakery product, diary firming, poultry firming, Mobile Phone repairing, electrical Technician, BEE Keeper Training, Fish Processing, Goat and Sheep farming etc. is being imparted to the inmates at Jails through District Authorities. Steps are being taken to imparted more skill up-gradation training to the inmates at Jails through different NGOs and District Authorities in order to promote Jail industries.

Vocational Training for Women Inmates

Vocational training for women inmates focuses on providing job ready skills to facilitate their rehabilitation, financial independence & successful re-integration into society post release. Beauty & Wellness, Textile& Handicrafts, LED Bulb Making, Food & Agriculture training are being provided to the women inmates through the District Administration, Skill Development Authority & NGOs.
