Furlough

  Convicted Prisoners are granted with Furlough Leave by the Head of Directorate of Prisons in 2 spells in a year. The 1^st spell for 14 days and 2^nd spell for 21 days.

Parole

  The Convicted Prisoners are granted with Parole Leave by the District Magistrate and Collector of respective District up to 30 days in a year.

Emergency Parole

  Emergency Parole is granted to the Convicted Prisoners by the District Magistrate under Police Protection to the familial and social responsibilities of emergent nature like death or serious illness or marriage of a family member or other close relative.

Special Leave

  The Convicted Prisoners are granted with Special Leave by the Head of Directorate of Prisons for a period of 12 days in case of death or serious illness of family members and 5 days for Thread or marriage ceremony of Son, Daughter etc.
